Slice of Heaven – Full-Stack E-commerce Platform
Slice of Heaven is a full-stack e-commerce platform developed as a group project to provide a modern, seamless online shopping experience. It features an intuitive category-based product catalog with dynamic filtering, comprehensive backend and admin-facing tools for managing product listings, pricing, and promotional offers, and real-time inventory tracking to reflect stock levels accurately and streamline order fulfillment.
Problem & Motivation
Online retail stores require seamless browsing experiences with accurate real-time inventory synchronization to prevent ordering out-of-stock items and simplify administrative product updates.
The Solution & Architecture
Developed a MERN architecture featuring modular React UI components, Express.js REST APIs, MongoDB for flexible data modeling, and Cloudinary for media asset management with real-time inventory tracking.

My Role & Key Contributions
- 1Product Catalog: Designed and implemented a category-based product catalog with browsing and filtering functionality, giving customers a smooth and organized shopping experience.
- 2Product Management: Built the backend and admin-facing features for adding, updating, and managing product listings, including pricing, offers, and product details.
- 3Inventory Management: Implemented inventory tracking to reflect stock levels in real time, helping the admin manage availability and order fulfillment accurately.
- 4Media & API Architecture: Integrated Cloudinary for high-performance cloud asset storage and built RESTful API endpoints in Node.js and Express.js.
Result & Outcome
Successfully launched an e-commerce platform with a user-friendly product catalog, automated inventory updates, and an intuitive administrative portal.
