Enlear HRMS – Cloud-Based Human Resource Management System

Enlear HRMS is a comprehensive cloud-native human resource platform built with Next.js, React, and an event-driven AWS serverless architecture. The system streamlines organizational workflows by integrating real-time employee administration, automated leave requests, attendance monitoring, company device allocation, and calendar synchronization.

Problem & Motivation

Traditional HR processes often rely on fragmented spreadsheets and manual approval cycles for attendance, leave management, device allocation, and scheduling, leading to administrative bottlenecks and delayed organizational communication.

The Solution & Architecture

Engineered an event-driven serverless architecture using Next.js, AWS Amplify Gen 2, GraphQL APIs via AWS AppSync, and Amazon DynamoDB. Integrated Google Calendar and GitHub APIs for synchronized scheduling and automated employee lifecycle workflows.

Key System Features

  • Serverless Backend: Scalable microservices powered by AWS Lambda and Amazon DynamoDB.
  • GraphQL API Layer: Real-time queries and subscriptions via AWS AppSync.
  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Profile administration, department mapping, and access control.
  • Leave & Attendance Tracking: Automated submission, supervisor approval workflows, and status tracking.
  • Device & Asset Allocation: Hardware inventory assignment and return tracking for team members.
  • Calendar Integration: Automated event booking and sync via Google Calendar API.

My Role & Key Contributions

  • 1Architected event-driven serverless backend services using AWS Lambda (Node.js) and Amazon DynamoDB.
  • 2Designed GraphQL schema, queries, mutations, and real-time subscriptions with AWS AppSync.
  • 3Built responsive, accessible UI dashboard views using Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS.
  • 4Integrated Google Calendar and GitHub APIs to automate interview schedules and engineer onboarding workflows.
  • 5Created structured database models and single-table data access patterns in Amazon DynamoDB.

Result & Outcome

Delivered a responsive, resilient, and serverless HRMS platform that eliminates server maintenance overhead and centralizes enterprise employee administration.
